EM-500 Roll-Dek recessed entryway grate
Excellent for low to moderate traffic entrances such as office lobbies to employee entrances. Made out of extruded vinyl. Quick and easy to clean out, it can support rolling loads up to 300 pounds per wheel.

Allows water, dirt, and debris to accumulate under the surface so it can be used in moderate traffic areas or where cleaning would need to be done quickly and easily.

Panel Size – 144 ” wide x 96 ” long
Treads go up to 144 inches long. Therefore mat width is limited to 144 inches. Length - even though in theory it may be made any length but manufacturer does not recommend making each section longer than 96 inches.

Heel-proof design
With 3/16 inch gap between treads it will not act as a trap for heels and would still let debris and water drain under the mat.

Rolling Load Test – 300 lb / wheel (5” diameter 2” wide)
Making it total gross weight of 4-weeled cart 1200 pounds, or a 2-wheeled cart 600 lbs. Can easily handle loads such as shopping carts, bellman carts, carts bringing in light inventory or service items.

Easy cleaning and Maintenance
Once the mat is lifted the recessed area can be cleaned easily. A hose and a firm brush can quickly and easily clean both the mat and the recessed area. Make sure that the mat sits perfectly on the flat surface, or you may end up damaging the mat. After brushing and/ or hosing the mat, the 180 degrees roll-back provides easy access to the water, dirt, and debris to be cleaned out of the recess, or off the floor.

Solution dyed 100% nylon carpet, density of 33.8oz/sqyd . It is available in variety of colors. Carpet fibers fusion-bonded to two-ply backing strips. Carpet fibers incorporate

Bristle filament carpet insert it is solution dyed polypropylene fibers with 50% blend of 600/12-denier multi filament and 595/D1 monofilament. There are five available manufacturer's standard colors for inserts, also fibers are waterproof and involve UV inhibitors for exterior use. Excellent indoor and outdoor performance.

The Rigid vinyl rails will be held together with the flexible vinyl ball socket hinge with 3/4 perforations for drainage.
1 and 11/16' vinyl threads connected by the hinge leaving 3/16 gap in between the threads. Distance between thread mid points - 1 and 7/8 inch
Given that treads and hinges have fixed width the mat will come with square vinyl nosing that will exceed required parameters. It will need to be trimmed on site to needed dimension. It is easily done with sharp utility knife.
