VinWave Mini Drainage Mat

DESIGN:
Extruded vinyl ribbon isolating between series of parallel ribbons of the same type. Due to wavy pattern that resembles the letter “S” shower mat is also known in the marker as S-mat. Ribbons can be extruded in variety of widths and thicknesses. Different widths of the ribbon would make the S-mat vary in thickness (one on the top is our 1/4 inch mat and the bottom one is 1/2 inch thick version).

Making ribbon fat or thin would also result in products that are fairly different. Thinner ribbons would use less material making the cost go down, sometimes dramatically. Since product would be lighter it would also be cheaper to ship.
On the down side:

• 1. There would be less material for the ribbons to hold the mat together and it would be prone to tearing, especially if you have a larger – heavier piece.
• 2. These cheaper S-mats would provide less support to your bare feet and the thin edges of the ribbon would cut into your bare feet much more making it less comfortable:
• 3. Lighter mats would be less stable on the surface.

CUSTOMIZATION:
Max Size LENGTH:
Our standard length of this wet area mat is 40 feet (or 12 meters). Therefore the maximum length of this runner can be up to 40 feet. One would rarely need to have it as one piece. Such large piece also would be pretty difficult to move around due to the weight. Whatever it is a full roll or a cut piece it will come with unfinished ends:



Max Size WIDTH:
At the moment we are stocking VinWave Mini that is 3 feet wide. Only way to get this product wider is to place 20 roll minimum order and be ready to wait up to 6 months. As far as cutting mats that are less than 3 feet wide – it is not a problem. We can cut it but you will have to pay for the full width and it will result in another (in addition to the ends) unfinished edge



Custom shapes:
We will cut only rectangular shapes for you. However, at the room temperature these mats are pretty easy to. All you will need is a utility knife with a new blade (no break away type blades please) and you will be able to make cuts to accommodate, pipes, fixtures or conform to irregular room floor shapes. If you have a pair of large scissors this will also get the job done.

COLORS:
Currently we stock this in GREY, BLUE and TAN colors. Any color is possible with 20+ roll order minimum and long lead time.

CLEANING:
Lifting it off the floor and rinsing it with a garden hose usually will do the job. If there is some residue that would not come off – work it with a stiff bristle brush and/or spray something you have to wash glass shower doors. It can be washed with a pressure washer. If you own one of these pressure washers that can produce 2000 PSI or more, use common sense, keep nozzle away from the mat 12 or more inches so it does not get cut up.
